Eric James Mitro, an American actor, was born on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and spent his childhood on Charlotte, North Carolina, where he was raised alongside his three younger brothers.
As a child, Eric and his brother began acting in commercials and small projects, sparking an early interest in the craft. However, it wasn't until halfway through his attendance at East Carolina University that Eric rediscovered his passion for acting.
During his summer break, Eric was unexpectedly brought on to serve as Liam Hemsworth's stand-in for the film adaptation of The Hunger Games. This experience allowed him to spend an entire summer on set, immersing himself in the world of filmmaking.
After completing his studies, Eric made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming a professional actor. His hard work and dedication eventually paid off, as he landed his first role in 2015 as Dominic Ewing on the Emmy award-winning television show How to Get Away with Murder.
Eric's breakthrough continued with his first lead role in the short film "Joe," which showcased his versatility as a performer. He also played the part of James Rosenberg in the web series Or Die Trying, further solidifying his reputation as a talented and versatile actor.
In addition to his work in television and film, Eric was brought on to the John Singleton FX pilot Snowfall to portray the undercover CIA agent Logan Miller, demonstrating his range and ability to take on complex, nuanced characters.
