Actress, poet, DJ, and producer Erica has been pursuing her passion for the arts since childhood in Mount Clemens, Michigan. She began her acting career early on, taking intensive workshops at Macomb College and earning a coveted spot in the Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit as a preteen.
She went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the prestigious Juilliard School, a four-year acting program that is considered a career-defining achievement. After completing the program, Erica starred in several off-Broadway regional productions, including August Wilson's "Joe Turner's Come and Gone", "The Piano Lesson", and Lorraine Hansberry's "A Raisin in the Sun".
Erica made her television debut on "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" before moving to Los Angeles, where she landed her breakout role in the feature film "True to the Game" alongside Columbus Short, Vivica A. Fox, and Nelsan Ellis. Following her major theatrical debut, Erica has since appeared in a variety of productions, including "Bounce's Family Time" (2017),"Fall Girls" (2019, BET Original),"Gully" (2019, Epix),and a recurring role as 'Mo' on Seasons 2 and 3 of CW's "All American".
Erica has also starred in the lead role in "Trophy Wife" (2022, BET+ Original),and supporting lead in the upcoming action film "Light's Out" starring Frank Grillo and Mekhi Phifer. She continues her lead role as Gena in the trilogy "True To The Game 2 and 3" (BET). Erica is currently a series regular alongside Tami Roman in BET's new drama, "Haus of Vicious" (2022),directed by Kim Fields, and stars in Hulu's Christmas movie "All I Want For Christmas", which is set to hit screens this holiday season.
In addition to her acting career, Erica has also expanded her creativity to include DJing for events with Disney, Warner Brothers, and HBO Max. Known for her adaptability, humble personality, and vibrant energy, Erica is not only destined to be a moving presence on screen but also an irreplaceable light, placing her authentic touch on every endeavor she pursues.
