Erika's career has been marked by a wealth of opportunities to collaborate with esteemed artists from both Canada and the United States. She has had the privilege of working alongside notable directors such as Atom Egoyan, known for his work on films like Where the Truth Lies, as well as Tony Goldwyn, a respected figure in the American film industry. Additionally, she has had the opportunity to work with celebrated Quebec director Fabienne Larouche, known for her work on 30 Vies, and actor/director Chazz Palminteri, who is famous for his roles in films like Noel.
Erika has also had the chance to work with other talented individuals, including Paul MgGuigan, director of Wicker Park, and Jacob Tierney, a rising star known for his work on The Trotsky. Born and raised in a small farming town just outside of Montreal, Quebec, Erika has always had a natural talent for performance. She began her career as a young girl, starring as Clara in the Nutcracker Ballet when she was just eight years old.
As she grew older, Erika's love for musical theatre only deepened, and she went on to play the role of Cinderella in a production of Roger and Hammerstein's musical. This experience cemented her passion for the performing arts, and she has been studying music, theatre, and dance ever since. Erika has received training from some of the best instructors in the industry, including those from the Stratford Conservatory in Ontario, the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York, and theatre and voice professionals at York, Ryerson, and The University of British Columbia.
In addition to her formal education, Erika has also pursued her passion for photography and equestrianism. She has traveled extensively, visiting countries such as India, Israel, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Barbados, Mozambique, and Italy, and enjoys a wide range of hobbies, including ballet, playing piano, surfing, hiking, yoga, and cross-country skiing. She is also fluent in French, a testament to her bilingual upbringing in Quebec.
