Erin's Life Story:
Erin, a Philadelphia native, took a courageous step by leaving her hometown behind to embark on a new adventure in Malibu, driven by an unwavering passion for TV Production at Pepperdine University. During her tenure at this esteemed institution, she was privileged to engage in the study of documentary film under the mentorship of the illustrious Don Ohlmeyer, whose expertise and guidance played a pivotal role in cementing her aspirations to carve out a successful career in this captivating field.
Erin's professional odyssey commenced upon receiving her diploma, as she entered the workforce as a Production Assistant for the esteemed TV Guide Network's hit program, "The Fashion Team". As the years unfolded, she showcased an extraordinary capacity for growth and an unwavering commitment to her craft, ultimately ascending to the roles of Field Producer, Associate Producer, and Writer. Her remarkable tenure at TV Guide Network spanned an impressive four shows, as well as a plethora of high-profile live events, including the prestigious Academy Awards, the coveted Golden Globes, the esteemed Emmy's, and the celebrated SAG Awards.
Erin's creative endeavors transcended her television work, as she embarked on the production of her directorial debut feature documentary film, which explored the fascinating realm of Salvia Divinorum, a potent and enigmatic substance, in 2008.
Despite her untimely demise in November 2013, due to a blood condition that was intricately linked to lupus, Erin's legacy lived on, as the completion and eventual release of her film took a remarkable nine years to materialize, a testament to her unwavering dedication to her craft.
Patrick Krauss, the love of her life and the father of her only child, not only served as Erin's partner but also as the producer of this ambitious project, imbuing it with a deeply personal and poignant resonance, as if infused with the essence of her own spirit.
