Alexandra Erinn Hayes, born May 25, 1976, is a talented American actress and comedian. She is widely recognized for her memorable role as Dr. Lola Spratt on the Adult Swim sitcom Childrens Hospital. Throughout her career, Hayes has had the opportunity to play various roles in numerous network sitcoms, including Alison on The Winner (2007),Melanie Clayton on Worst Week (2008-2009),and Sheila on Guys with Kids (2012-2013).
In addition to her work in television, Hayes has appeared in several feature films, such as It's a Disaster (2012),The Watch, and They Came Together. She has also co-starred in the reality TV parody series The Hotwives of Las Vegas on Hulu and performed as an inmate in the music video for Dengue Fever's song "No Sudden Moves".
Hayes's television credits also include her roles as a chef Becky Sharp on FOX's short-lived Kitchen Confidential, Pam Dawber in the TV movie Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Mork & Mindy, and Alison on the television show The Winner.
Hayes's work on Childrens Hospital earned her an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series in 2016. She has also played the role of Melanie Clayton on the CBS comedy series Worst Week, which was an Americanized version of the British comedy The Worst Week of My Life.
In 2015, Hayes began co-starring in the CBS series Kevin Can Wait, portraying the role of Kevin Gable's wife Donna. Unfortunately, she was fired from the series after the first season for unspecified creative reasons, and the show was eventually canceled after one more season.
In her personal life, Hayes attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, graduating in 1998 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in performance. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Jack Hayes, a construction supervisor, and they have two daughters, Maggie Mae (born June 10, 2007) and Lilah Grace (born April 29, 2009).
