Born in Berlin, Germany in the year 1983, she initially pursued a career in the performing arts, serving as an assistant in both the theatre and film industries before deciding to further her education and pursue a degree in directing at the prestigious University of Television and Film in Munich, Germany in the year 2009.

In 2013, she took a hiatus from her studies to attend the renowned Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, where she studied film dramaturgy, further honing her skills in storytelling and narrative development.

Fast-forwarding to 2015, she embarked on a master's degree in screenwriting at the esteemed London Film School, solidifying her knowledge and expertise in the art of crafting compelling scripts.

The culmination of her hard work and dedication came in the form of her debut feature film, "All Good", which premiered at the esteemed Locarno Film Festival, where it received the prestigious Best First Feature award.

This groundbreaking film went on to receive widespread critical acclaim, garnering numerous accolades, including the coveted Woman in Motion Award at the Cannes Film Festival and the German Film Critics' Award, cementing her status as a rising star in the world of cinema.
