Evan Law, the youngest offspring of Ed and Nancy Law, made his debut in the world and grew up within the confines of Farmland, Indiana, a quaint and idyllic small town that would later serve as the backdrop for his creative endeavors. His fascination with the art of film began to take shape at an impressively early age, when his father, Ed Law, would treat him to screenings of cinematic masterpieces such as "Big Trouble in Little China" and "Conan the Barbarian". This early exposure to the world of filmmaking had a profound impact on Evan, sparking a lifelong passion that would drive him to pursue his dreams in the industry.
As the years passed, Evan's fascination with the art of writing gradually began to take form, its development stimulated by the profound influence of renowned fantasy authors, including the celebrated J.R.R. Tolkien and the legendary Robert E. Howard.
By the tender age of 13, Evan's creative inclinations had matured to the point where he commenced penning novels, initially devoting himself to the fantasy genre, but later branching out to explore the realm of screenplays.
In a collaborative effort with his brother Chad, Evan crafted his inaugural screenplay, "Daylight's End", which marked a significant milestone in his foray into the dark and suspenseful world of horror, thus inaugurating his debut in this captivating genre.
The film "Daylight's End" initially garnered substantial recognition and acclaim when it was submitted to the prestigious "Project Greenlight" competition, a highly regarded and influential initiative founded by renowned actors and screenwriters Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. This notable competition, designed to foster and showcase emerging filmmaking talent, resulted in the successful production of the horror film "Feast". Although the screenplay for "Daylight's End" did not ultimately emerge as the winner of the competition, its submission to "Project Greenlight" nonetheless brought the talents of Evan and Chad to the attention of industry professionals, thereby opening up new opportunities and paving the way for their future screenwriting endeavors.
Evan's subsequent screenwriting endeavors, encompassing a gripping crime drama titled "Hero Wanted", ultimately culminated in the production of their inaugural feature film in the year 2008.
Despite achieving notable success in the realm of screenwriting, Evan still allocates time to craft fantasy novels, occasionally adopting the pseudonym E.R. Law. Nevertheless, co-authoring screenplays remains his paramount priority.
