Rhett Titus is an American professional wrestler, widely recognized by his ring name. He began his wrestling journey by enrolling in the ROH Wrestling Academy, where he was trained by the likes of Austin Aries and Bryan Danielson, who were instrumental in shaping his skills. Titus was part of a small and elite group of trainees, consisting of only two individuals, the other being Mitch Franklin. Despite initially struggling with the training, Titus later expressed gratitude towards Bryan Danielson, crediting the experience as a vital factor in making him a more dedicated and driven wrestler.
Titus made his professional wrestling debut in November 2006, competing for Full Impact Pro (FIP). His first match, held on November 10, saw him team up with Alex Payne to take on the YRR, consisting of Steve Madison and Chasyn Rance, in a tag team match. The following day, Titus and Payne emerged victorious in a tag team match against The Heartbreak Express, courtesy of a disqualification. Titus continued to make appearances for FIP, engaging in a notable feud with Grizzly Redwood, which culminated in a six-man tag team match at Unstoppable 2008.
In March 2009, Titus won the FIP Florida Heritage Championship by defeating Chris Jones. He successfully defended the title against Jones and Brad Attitude, but ultimately lost the championship to Attitude on October 3, 2009, after holding it for over six months. Titus made his final appearance for FIP at Southern Stampede in April 2010, participating in a battle royal and later defeating Bruce Santee in a singles match.
Following the dissolution of the Rebellion, Titus formed a new tag team, "The Dawgs," with Will Ferrara in late 2017. However, by early 2019, the duo had quietly disbanded. Titus then adopted a new gimmick, drawing inspiration from Rick Rude and Lex Luger, and showcased his physique by frequently flexing.
