Ezel Doruk, a relentless and unwavering individual with a profound passion for the performing arts, hails from the vibrant city of Melbourne. With a storied background in dramaturgy, spanning an impressive decade, his expertise has primarily been honed on the stage. Notwithstanding his considerable experience, Ezel remains steadfast in his pursuit of expanding his repertoire, driven by an unrelenting desire to traverse the vast expanse of the television and film industries.

Ezel's remarkable performance in AtticErratic's thought-provoking black comedy, "Tripped", garnered widespread critical acclaim for its poignant exploration of race relations in Australia and the far-reaching consequences of self-preservation and preconceived prejudices. The audience was captivated by his outstanding portrayal, which was praised for its moving, charismatic, and emotive quality, with many critics noting that he "really shines" on stage. With impressive finesse, he brought the character to life, making him "of interest" to audiences and critics alike. The play's successful premiere in both the Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe Festivals in 2014 and 2015, respectively, led to widespread acclaim, and now, with plans to take it further, "Tripped" is gaining a life of its own.

In the year 2012, the renowned thespian embarked upon an artistic journey that delved into the depths of similar themes, as showcased in his critically acclaimed production of "UnAustralia", a powerful exploration of the tumultuous Cronulla riots. This thought-provoking work not only highlighted the complexities of the human experience but also demonstrated the artist's remarkable ability to tap into the raw emotions of the characters.

Later that year, he took on the challenging yet rewarding role of "John Gabriel Borkman" in an unconventional adaptation of the Ibsen classic. In a bold and innovative move, he brought a fresh perspective to the character by subverting traditional gender norms, adopting a typically female role that showcased his remarkable vocal range and depth, reminiscent of the distinctive timbre often associated with Nordic women.

Furthermore, his impressive range was on full display in "Tell Them That it Rained Too Hard" (2011),a collaborative effort with AtticErratic that delved into the intricate dynamics of liberation versus conventional sexuality. This poignant exploration of the human condition showcased the artist's remarkable ability to convey complex emotions and thoughts through his nuanced performance.

Ezel's formative experiences in the Suzuki Method, Meisner technique, Adler's method, and Laban movement analysis have collectively equipped him with the emotional depth, physicality, and versatility to immerse himself in any subject matter with brooding sensitivity.

Throughout his years at the Victoria Youth Theatre (VYT),Ezel has undergone extensive vocal training, honing his craft and developing his natural baritone voice through rigorous practice and dedication, rather than relying solely on formal training.

Ezel is an individual who has dedicated himself to his profession, acknowledging that the inherently unpredictable nature of his industry may occasionally lead to minor setbacks or temporary deviations from his intended path. Despite this, he remains steadfast in his commitment to his craft.

As a man of Turkish descent and a background in fashion modeling, Ezel is naturally drawn to the unique energy and innovative approach of iCCAM. He is particularly impressed by the organization's ability to foster growth and progress through the provision of constructive, truthful feedback.
