Fatima Sana Shaikh, a talented actress, was born in the vibrant city of Mumbai, India, to a unique blend of Hindu Brahman and Muslim parents, Vipen Sharma and Raj Tabassum, respectively. Her early years were spent in the city's educational institutions, where she received her primary education at St. Xavier High School, a renowned institution in Mumbai, and later pursued higher education at Mithibai College, also located in Mumbai.
Shaikh's journey in the film industry began in 1997 with the release of the movie Chachi 420, starring the legendary Kamal Hasan. She played the role of Bharti, the daughter of Jaiprakash Paswan, a.k.a. Jai and Janki Paswan, in this film. Although she has been actively involved in acting since 1997, it was her recent role as Geeta Phogat in Aamir Khan's movie that catapulted her to new heights of fame and success, alongside sharing the screen with the iconic star.
