Fedna Jacquet, a talented individual, recently completed her Master's degree at the prestigious New York University Tisch Graduate School of Acting, where she had the opportunity to hone her craft and further her education.
Prior to her graduate studies, Fedna earned her undergraduate degree from Brown University, where she pursued a unique triple major in Theatre Arts, Africana Studies, and Political Science. This well-rounded education not only deepened her understanding of the performing arts but also provided her with a strong foundation in social sciences and humanities.
Fedna's impressive credentials also include a series of prestigious fellowships and residencies. As the National Black Theatre Playwright in Residence from 2020 to 2022, she was part of a distinguished program that celebrates and supports the work of African American playwrights. Her tenure as the Huntington Theatre Playwriting Fellow from 2019 to 2021 further solidified her reputation as a rising talent in the world of playwriting.
In addition, Fedna was selected as a 2019 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellow in Playwriting/Screenwriting, a recognition that acknowledges her exceptional skill and dedication to her craft. Throughout her career, Fedna has consistently demonstrated her versatility, creativity, and passion for storytelling, earning her a reputation as a talented and innovative artist.
