Born to a family of artistic professionals, Fiona Maggart is the daughter of former singer Diane McAfee and actor Brandon Maggart. Her early life was marked by a strong foundation in music, as she received classical piano training as a child and began composing her own songs at the tender age of eight.
As she grew older, Fiona's passion for music only intensified, and she crafted a demo tape while finishing high school in Los Angeles. After returning home to New York for Christmas, one of the demo tapes found its way to a friend who oversaw the care of a music industry executive's children. This fortunate turn of events led to the demo being played for producer Andrew Salter, who was so impressed that he immediately requested a meeting with Fiona.
At just seventeen years old, Fiona released her debut album, Tidal, which would go on to earn her a Grammy Award for the song "Criminal". Throughout her career, she has continued to release numerous critically-acclaimed records, cementing her status as a talented and accomplished musician.
