Person Biography:
Born in Paris, Flavio grew up between France and Italy, where he learned to speak both languages fluently. He spent his formative years between 1993 and 1999 studying at the International boarding school of Valbonne (C.I.V) in France, where he achieved an International Baccalaureate and mastered English.
After completing his studies, Flavio moved to Italy and pursued his passion for theatre. He graduated from Genoa's National Theatre Academy in 2002 and began working with the theatre's company as an actor and director. His debut in theatre was a production of Bertolt Brecht's "Mother Courage", where he also served as assistant director.
Flavio went on to work exclusively as an actor and stage director for Genoa's National Theatre until 2005, during which time he wrote and directed his own plays. He made his screen debut in 2008, co-starring in the film "Talk to me about love" alongside Silvio Muccino.
In the same year, Flavio appeared in the films "At a glance" directed by Sergio Rubini, and "The losers's blood" directed by Michele Soavi. He then co-starred in "Einstein" directed by Liliana Cavani, where he played the role of Eduard Einstein, the schizophrenic son of Albert Einstein.
In 2009, Flavio participated in the 66th Venice International Film Festival, appearing in three films: "Tris di Donne e abitinuziali" by Vincenzo Terraciano, "The red shadows" by Citto Maselli, and "I Am Love" directed by Luca Guadagnino, which received a Golden Globe and Academy Award nomination.
In the past two years, Flavio has starred in the film "Another World" directed by S. Muccino and has been a regular in the TV series "Police District". In 2011, he played the male leading role in "Cinderella" (as Prince Charming) directed by C. Duguay.
Aside from his acting career, Flavio is also a producer and director. He has produced and directed several indie films, including "A Quantum Butterfly Dream", a visual concept of a stream of consciousness, and "By MySide", his second indie movie, which was shot in night time with no light setup.
