Tanase began his professional odyssey upon the culmination of his academic pursuits, securing a prestigious position with the illustrious Theatre "Toma Caragiu" in Ploiesti. Although his stint was relatively short-lived, spanning merely a solitary production, he ultimately made the decisive choice to relocate to the Theatre in Timisoara, where he spent a productive two-year period refining his artistic skills. Following this tenure, Tanase worked at the renowned Comedy Theatre in Bucharest from 1973 to 1975, during which time he continued to hone his craft and build upon his already impressive repertoire.
