Francesca Michielin, a talented Italian singer-songwriter, rose to fame after claiming the top prize in the fifth season of the popular Italian television program X Factor. This remarkable achievement served as the catalyst for her illustrious music career, which was marked by the release of her debut studio album, Riflessi di me, in October 2012.

Michielin's subsequent success was solidified with the release of her second top-ten solo single in Italy, "L'amore esiste", which served as a precursor to her 2015 album, di20. The album was re-released in February 2016 under the title di20are, accompanied by the single "Nessun grado di separazione", which dominated the Italian singles chart and achieved a remarkable second-place finish at the 66th Sanremo Music Festival, a prestigious annual event that showcases the best of Italian music. Moreover, "Nessun grado di separazione" represented Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, a highly acclaimed international singing competition that brings together talented artists from all over the world.
