Biography

Fred Khasigian, a remarkable individual, achieved academic excellence during his time at the University of Southern California (USC),earning a spot on the Dean's List six times and receiving the Football Alumni Club Award for having the highest GPA among seniors in 1969. Additionally, he was honored with Academic All-America recognition in the same year.

As a talented athlete, Khasigian was a two-time First Team All-Pac-8 selection and played for the USC Trojans, contributing to a remarkable 29-2-2 record, three conference titles, two Rose Bowl victories, and a National Championship in 1967 under the guidance of College Football Hall of Fame head coach John McKay.

Khasigian further honed his skills in rugby, playing for the Santa Monica Rugby Club from 1970 to 1976 and the Sacramento Men's Club from 1979 to 1996. During his time with Santa Monica, he won the Rugby Club National Championship.

In his current role, Khasigian serves as the director and head coach of the Jesuit High School (California) Rugby Program, which he established in 1997. Under his leadership, the program has grown into a national powerhouse, with over 140 boys participating in two leagues at the Varsity and JV levels. Throughout his tenure, Khasigian has guided the Marauder teams to an impressive seven National High School Championships in 1999, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2011, and 2013.
