Fumitoshi Oizaki, a dynamic and versatile creative individual, emerged into the world on October 15, 1975, in the picturesque Oita Prefecture. His innate fascination with animation served as the catalyst for his entry into the industry, as he embarked on a freelance journey, forging collaborative partnerships with esteemed studios such as Sunrise and Gonzo. Through his extensive and diverse experience, he eventually co-founded Encourage Films in 2008, alongside the visionary producer Tōyō Ikeda, whose significant contributions played a pivotal role in the studio's growth and development.
Tōyō Ikeda, the esteemed producer of Gonzo, made a profound impact on the studio's creative trajectory, his influence extending far beyond the realm of mere mortal producers. As a visionary leader, Ikeda played a pivotal role in shaping the studio's very essence, his innovative spirit and unwavering dedication to the craft of animation guiding the direction of Encourage Films.
Regrettably, Ikeda's untimely passing in 2013 left a void that seemed insurmountable, a loss that was deeply felt by all who had the privilege of working alongside him. Yet, in the face of this adversity, Fumitoshi Oizaki, a man of unyielding passion and unwavering commitment, rose to the challenge, admirably assuming the mantle of CEO, and in doing so, ensured the continued success and growth of Encourage Films.
Under Oizaki's astute leadership, the studio has continued to flourish, a testament to the enduring legacy of Ikeda's vision and the unshakeable resolve of the Encourage Films team.
