G. Smokey Campbell is a seasoned performer with a rich background in stage, film, and television. He was handpicked to study with the renowned Negro Ensemble Company (NEC) of New York for an impressive three consecutive years, and he also had the privilege of being a performing member of the esteemed organization.
Throughout his illustrious career, Campbell has made a lasting impact on the Los Angeles stage, earning him a staggering three Los Angeles NAACP Image Awards for Best Actor in a Stage Performance. His versatility and talent have also made him a Series Regular on the WNET show "Watch Your Mouth" and a Co-Star in the Percy Adlon film, "Bagdad Cafe".
In addition to his impressive stage and screen credits, Campbell holds a strong academic foundation, having received an Associate of Arts Degree from Los Angeles City College in Radio/TV Broadcasting. He further solidified his educational credentials by graduating from the University of Southern California with a Double Major in Film/Television Production and Dramatic Arts.
Beyond his acting and academic pursuits, Campbell has also honed his technical skills, becoming a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) and working as a Lighting Technician within the Entertainment Industry.
