Galina Miklínová, a talented Czech illustrator and director of cartoons, was born on July 28, 1970. She pursued her educational endeavors at the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague, UMPRUM, where she earned her degree in 1997. In addition to her Czech education, Galina also had the opportunity to study at the University of Humberside in the United Kingdom, further broadening her artistic horizons.
Throughout her illustrious career, Galina has garnered numerous accolades as both an author of cartoons and an illustrator of books. Her collaborative efforts with renowned Czech poet Pavel Šrut have yielded a diverse range of creative projects.
Galina Miklínová's notable works include the visually striking and imaginative "The Oddsockeaters" (2016),which garnered recognition at the 2016 Czech Film Critics Awards, as well as "Ceny české filmové kritiky 2016" (2017) and the poignant "Krásný ztráty" (2000).
