Gareth Edward Moyse was born on May 10, 1981, in Swansea, Wales, a city known for its rich history and cultural heritage. He later relocated to Canada in 2008, after spending several years in Scotland, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Retail Management from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland.
As a child, Moyse was an avid fan of Dundee United, and he would often travel with his team to watch them play around the country. His passion for sports continued as he became an ardent fan of the St. Louis Blues, a professional ice hockey team based in Missouri, after moving to Canada.
Moyse's interest in acting began to take shape when he moved to Canada, and he started honing his craft at EVN Studios in Toronto, Ontario, under the guidance of mentor Earl Nanhu. He also trained with renowned acting coaches Ron Leach at Dynamic Acting School and Bruce Clayton at Pro Actors Lab.
Throughout his early career, Moyse gained valuable experience working on student and independent films, which he believes provided a unique education in the art of acting. He takes immense pride in his extensive body of work in student and independent films, citing his dedication, appreciation, and understanding of the true qualities of bringing a role to life as key factors that set him apart from others in his field.
Moyse has had the opportunity to work on a variety of TV series and feature films, including Dual Suspects (2011),Mayday (2011),William Shatner's Weird Or What (2012),Copper (2013),Reel (2015),and Cherrypicker (2019),among others.
