Biography

Gavin Haag, a true Renaissance man, was born in the city that never sleeps, New York City, but spent his formative years in the sun-kissed state of California. As a young lad of six, his parents wisely decided to enroll him in a bi-lingual French-American school, recognizing the importance of education and cultural diversity. This early exposure to a second language would serve him well in his future endeavors.

As he grew older, Gavin's passion for the arts only intensified, leading him to graduate from some of the most prestigious institutions in the country. He earned his degree from the University of California, Los Angeles's (UCLA) School of Theatre, Film and Television, and honed his craft at the renowned William Esper Studio, The Barrow Group, and The Freeman Studio.

Gavin's impressive resume boasts a wide range of credits in both film and television. He has had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented individuals in the industry, including Aaron Sorkin, David Simon, and Russell Crowe. Some of his notable roles include appearances in the SAG Award-winning "The Trial of the Chicago 7" (Netflix),"The Plot Against America" (HBO),"The Godfather of Harlem" (EPIX),and "The Loudest Voice" (SHO).

In addition to his television work, Gavin has also appeared in several notable films, including "The Incredible Jessica James" and "People, Places, Things," both written and directed by Jim Strauss for Netflix. In 2022, he can be seen in HBO's "The White House Plumbers," starring Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux.

When he's not busy acting, Gavin can often be found indulging in his love of the French language, a skill he acquired at a young age. Despite his many accomplishments, he remains humble and grounded, always looking for new opportunities to hone his craft and explore the world around him.
