Gayathri Suresh, a name that echoes with the triumph of Miss Kerala 2014, has a story that's as fascinating as it is inspiring. Born in 1992 in the city of Thrissur, Gayathri's journey to stardom began with her passion for dancing and stage performances, which she showcased with remarkable confidence during her school days.
As the daughter of Suresh Kumar and Rekha, Gayathri was blessed with a supportive family that encouraged her to pursue her dreams. Her parents, though from an orthodox background, instilled in her the importance of education and extracurricular activities, which helped shape her into the person she is today.
After completing her higher education, Gayathri joined college with a clear aim to secure a job and carve out her own space in the world. It was during this time that she dedicated herself to learning classical dance, a passion that had been brewing within her since childhood. Although not a professional singer, Gayathri would often take the stage at club functions, showcasing her singing talents to a wider audience.
The college experience, replete with new friendships and innovative ideas, gave Gayathri a fresh perspective on life. She was recruited by the South India Bank through a campus interview, marking the beginning of her career in the banking sector. However, her dreams of pursuing post-graduation and a Master's in Business Administration remained unwavering.
Little did Gayathri know that her life was about to take a dramatic turn when a mutual friend introduced her to Kunchacko Boban, the renowned Malayalam actor. The rest, as they say, is history. Gayathri's name was recommended to the director of the movie Jamna Pyari, and she was soon roped in as the female lead alongside Kunchacko Boban. The experience, though her first in the film industry, left her feeling that acting was indeed the right track, and she would continue to pursue it with unwavering dedication.
