Gerard Malik Linton, a Jamaican-American filmmaker, was born on December 9, 1973. He initiated his directorial career with the short film "NO MIRROR LAND" in the year 2001, featuring Crawford James in the leading role. Additionally, Linton penned the screenplay for "A WALK IN THE DARK" (2003),an art-house short film directed by the producer of "NO MIRROR LAND", Bruce Lucas.
