Gemma Deerfield, a multifaceted and accomplished individual with a profound enthusiasm for the performing arts, embarked upon her remarkable journey by pursuing higher education at the esteemed London Metropolitan University.

Upon completing her academic pursuits, Deerfield took to the stage at the renowned Lion & Unicorn theatre in the vibrant neighborhood of Kentish Town, where she brought to life the captivating character of Angelique in Moliere's timeless masterpiece, Imaginary Invalid.

Her outstanding performance did not go unnoticed, as it also secured her a coveted spot in Camden's prestigious Etcetera Theatre, where she portrayed the complex and intriguing character of Solange in the thought-provoking production of The Maids.

Prior to embarking on a career in film, Gemma devoted a significant amount of time to producing a series of cabaret shows, showcasing her creative talents in a unique and captivating manner.

Her initial foray into the world of film was marked by a prominent role in Alan Ronald's thought-provoking production, Jesus Versus The Messiah, where she brought the character of Sally to life with remarkable depth and nuance.

In the same year, Gemma's burgeoning film career continued to flourish as she took on starring roles in a pair of critically acclaimed short films, Lady by the Lake and Milky Thursday, further solidifying her reputation as a talented and versatile actress.

As Gemma embarked on a journey of self-discovery, she simultaneously pursued various creative endeavors, one of which was delving into the realm of film production, where she had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned professionals, specifically Paul Anderton, on the short film "Last", and subsequently, she worked alongside the accomplished Ricci Hartnett on the feature film "Breathe".

Gemma's remarkable career trajectory underwent a significant transformation when she landed a pivotal role in Parthenon Entertainment's critically acclaimed drama-documentary series, Mystery Files, where she had the opportunity to portray two esteemed historical figures, namely the legendary Joan of Arc and the enigmatic Cleopatra. In addition to her work with Spikey, Gemma also had the opportunity to join forces with a group of talented film students in Manchester to produce the short film, Ella. Gemma, a talented thespian, re-entered the world of theatre in 2012, marking a triumphant comeback after a prolonged absence from the stage. She shone brightly in the fringe musical production of "A Fistful of Love", a captivating show penned by the ingenious Kellie Taylor.
