Person Biography:
Born and raised in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, Canada, LuFisto, a female Canadian professional wrestler, began her training at the age of 17. Under the ring name Lucifer, she made her debut on June 23, 1997, in St-Leonard-d'Aston, Quebec.
She later joined RWR and Northern Championship Wrestling (NCW) in Montreal and made her first trip to the States in 1998, wrestling for Eastern Township Wrestling Alliance, where she modified her ring name to Lucy Fer.
In late 1998, LuFisto joined the Eastern Wrestling Alliance under the name Luscious Lucy as "Centerfold" Steve Ramsey's valet. She also began appearing at Green Mountain Wrestling shows in Vermont and, by mid-1999, was working for International Wrestling 2000 in Quebec.
LuFisto's ring name was changed to Precious Lucy by The Mountie Jacques Rougeau, and she became the first female in Quebec to win a male championship at ICW, defeating Serge Proulx for the ICW Provincial Championship. She also developed her hardcore style during this period.
In 2002, LuFisto, now wrestling under her current ring name, was booked to appear in the main event of Blood, Sweat N' Ears, a match featuring hardcore wrestler Bloody Bill Skullion. However, the Ontario Athletics Commission threatened to withdraw the license for the show due to a regulation that prohibited women and men from wrestling each other.
LuFisto lodged a complaint with the Ontario Human Rights Commission, which convinced the OAC to drop the regulation. The OAC subsequently dropped the majority of the regulations affecting professional wrestling in Ontario, allowing LuFisto to continue her career.
Currently, LuFisto is the head trainer, along with Dru Onyx, of Onyx and LuFisto's Torture Chamber, a wrestling school within National Wrestling Alliance's NWA Quebec Pro Wrestling promotion.
