Geordie Johnson's illustrious career has spanned multiple mediums, including television, film, and theatre. Notably, he has made numerous guest appearances on various TV shows, and held a starring role in the syndicated series, Dracula: The Series, in 1990.
In addition to his television endeavors, Johnson recently appeared in the critically acclaimed film, The English Patient, in 1996. Furthermore, he portrayed the renowned composer, Franz Liszt, in HBO's COMPOSERS' SPECIALS SERIES: Liszt's Rhapsody, also released in 1996.
In 1996, Johnson returned to the Stratford Festival, after a several-year hiatus, to take on the roles of Edmund in KING LEAR and Chance Wayne in SWEET BIRD OF YOUTH. His outstanding performance in the latter earned him a nomination for Best Actor in a Drama by the Stage Door Awards.
In 1988, Johnson received the Dora Mavor Moore award for Outstanding Performance in a Play (Leading Role) for his captivating portrayal in I AM YOURS at the Tarragon Theatre.
