George Clarke is the founder of Yellow Fever Productions, an independent film company based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. His multifaceted roles within the film industry include writer, producer, director, action choreographer, director of photography, editor, and occasionally, actor.
George's extensive experience in the film world has led to his creation of the Yellow Fever Independent Film Festival in 2008, which has garnered critical acclaim from industry professionals globally. Furthermore, he runs the indie DVD label for Yellow Fever Productions in the UK and Ireland.
George's inspirations in the film industry are diverse, with notable influences from Asian cinema, including Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao, Yuen Woo Ping, and Donnie Yen. His Western heroes, on the other hand, are a mix of comedy greats, such as Charlie Chaplin, Gene Wilder, Steve Martin, and Mel Brooks.
Outside of his film endeavors, George is a devoted father of two and a professional cartoonist/illustrator. In his free time, he creates a range of children's books and characters, aiming to bring them to the screen in the future. His passion for film is evident in his extensive DVD collection, boasting over 3000 titles.
