Geraldo Homem D'El Rey Silva, a renowned Brazilian actor, was born on October 29, 1930, and passed away on April 25, 1993. He was commonly known by his stage name, Geraldo Del Rey.

Throughout his illustrious career, Del Rey had the privilege of starring in several iconic Brazilian films. Two of his most notable roles were in the classic films "A grande feira" and "Black God, White Devil". The former, directed by Roberto Pires, was released in 1961, while the latter, directed by Glauber Rocha, premiered in 1964.

In addition to his work in these two films, Del Rey collaborated with the esteemed Portuguese director Paulo Rocha on the movie "Change of Life". In this film, he portrayed the character of a fisherman who returns to his homeland after serving in the war in Angola, a role that showcased his remarkable acting abilities.
