As a young man, Gerry pursued his passion for hockey by playing Varsity hockey at St. Francis Xavier University, a renowned institution of higher learning situated in the charming town of Antigonish, Nova Scotia. His academic and athletic endeavors culminated in a degree that prepared him for a career as a high-school physical-education teacher.
Gerry's innate talent and dedication to his craft eventually led him to become the first Canadian to ever win the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition, a remarkable achievement that solidified his position as a talented comedian.
When he's not making audiences laugh, Gerry enjoys hitting the links and honing his golf skills. With a handicap of two, he's a force to be reckoned with on the golf course, showcasing his natural aptitude and competitive spirit.
