Karen Christine Catanzaro, better known by her stage name Gia Paloma, was born on June 27, 1984, in Diamond Bar, California. As a proud individual of Italian descent, Paloma spent her formative years in Walnut, California.
Before entering the adult entertainment industry, Paloma worked at a Starbucks coffeehouse and briefly attended California State University in Fullerton, where she dropped out to pursue a career in the porn industry in 2003. Her motivations for doing so were twofold: she needed the financial stability and wanted to exact revenge on an ex-boyfriend.
Throughout her career, Paloma worked with numerous notable companies and adult websites, including Kink.com, PayOnes, Adam & Eve, Devil's Film, Anal Army, Next Level, 3rd Degree, Pure Filth, Diabolic Video, and Extreme Associates, for which she was a contract performer.
In addition to her on-screen performances, Paloma also ventured into directing, helming her first hardcore feature in 2004. Furthermore, she underwent breast augmentation surgery in May 2005.
Paloma's personal life is marked by her status as a mother of two children. After a successful career in the adult entertainment industry, Paloma has since retired from the profession.
