Gillian was born in Hollywood, Florida, and from a very young age, she knew that her true calling was in the world of entertainment. With a natural talent for acting, singing, and writing, she began performing in community theaters at just four years old. Her passion for the arts only grew stronger as she grew older, leading her to pursue a full-tuition scholarship to Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she studied Theatre and Communication & Rhetorical Studies.
During her four years at Oglethorpe, Gillian was actively involved in the university's theater program, honing her craft through rehearsals, internships, and performances. She also interned at the People Store Talent Agency in Atlanta, where she was later signed for commercial and film & TV representation. After graduating, Gillian was selected to participate in the prestigious internship program at Actor's Express in Atlanta, where she was part of a select group of talented individuals from around the country.
Gillian's hard work and dedication paid off when she landed a series regular role on the CW adaptation of "Lost Boys" in 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, both the filming of the series and her internship were put on hold. Despite these challenges, Gillian continued to book roles, including a supporting part in the Lifetime movie "Who's Killing the Cheerleaders?" and a supporting role in the Sundance Film Festival-opening film "Emergency," starring RJ Cyler, Donald Elise Watkins, and Sabrina Carpenter.
In 2022, Gillian's film roles will continue to expand with the release of "Evolution of Nate Gibson" and "The Re-Education of Molly Singer." In 2021, she had the opportunity to play the title role in the world-premiere musical "Darlin' Cory" at the regional Tony-Award-winning Alliance Theatre. Written by Philip DePoy with music and lyrics by Kristian Bush of Sugarland, "Darlin' Cory" was a highlight of Gillian's year, allowing her to mold and amplify the character alongside a talented team of professionals.
