Gina's life story began in Wellington, New Zealand, where she was born to a Greek father and a Kiwi mother. At the tender age of ten, her parents started a small production company, producing historical and political documentaries about Greece, and Gina was actively involved in every stage of production, from research to editing, throughout her teenage years.
After completing high school, Gina left New Zealand to pursue her passion for acting and writing in New York and Rome, attending classes and workshops before returning to her homeland to begin her career in the film and television industry. She worked as an actress in New Zealand for several years, but the strong urge to reconnect with her Greek roots led her back to Europe, where she eventually settled in London.
Gina's life took a dramatic turn in London, as she worked briefly in the fashion industry before being drawn back to her love of storytelling. She returned to New Zealand and fell back into acting, landing several roles in television and film, including the critically acclaimed film "The Devil's Rock," which led her to London once again to attend international film festivals.
These festivals gave Gina a disturbing insight into the film industry, and she made the decision to no longer take on roles with dark and sinister themes. She attempted one more film in London but couldn't shake the feeling that her dream lacked integrity and value. In 2012, Gina made the bold decision to move back to Greece during a time of turmoil and crisis, and she threw herself into a new career as a freelance writer and photographer.
Gina also co-founded a drama therapy program for kids and their communities, and she now happily resides in Athens, Greece, where she continues to pursue her passions and make a positive impact on her community.
