Gino Dentie, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native, was born into a traditional Italian family on the Lower East Side, where his love for music was first sparked at the tender age of four. This early fascination with music would eventually drive him to leave his hometown at the age of 15, bound for the City of Angels, Los Angeles, to pursue a singing career.
As a teenager, Dentie formed a band called "The Family," which would later record a hit album titled "Gino Dentie Direct Disco" under the Crystal Clear Records label. The album's success propelled the band onto the national stage, with Dentie and his group touring the entire United States during the height of the disco era.
However, Dentie's musical pursuits were not without their challenges. As the disco era began to wane, he made the decision to go solo, and it was during this time that he had the opportunity to work alongside some of the most renowned musicians of the era.
Dentie's big break came when he landed a supporting role in the film "Hamburger," a role that he secured partly due to his ownership of the Guinness World Record's "World's Longest Car." This initial foray into acting had a profound impact on Dentie, and he soon found himself hooked on the craft.
Since then, Dentie has gone on to work with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Christopher Walken, Michael Madsen, Jeff Conaway, Dennis Hopper, Rod Steiger, Chaz Palmenterri, Bobby Gallo, Michael Rosenbaum, Abe Vigoda, David Proval, and Ricky Schroeder, to name just a few.
Most recently, Dentie co-starred alongside Tony Cox in the film "The Mail Man." He has also recently completed the Rock-On road show at the Variety Theatre Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Throughout his career, Dentie has remained committed to his passions, both in front of and behind the camera. He is currently working on a new animation show, and is set to release a new album, a lifelong dream come true.
