Giorgio Serafini's illustrious career has seen him collaborate with a diverse range of talented actors, including Jena Malone, Terrence Howard, Roy Scheider, Peter Bogdanovich, William Shatner, Christopher Lloyd, Jean Smart, Esai Morales, Wesley Snipes, Natalia Dyer, Dolph Lundgren, Billy Zane, and Sean Patrick Flanery.
With a wealth of experience in the industry, Giorgio has directed and/or written for numerous prominent companies, such as CBS, Sony, Lionsgate, EOne, Voltage Pictures, Canal+, RAI, and Mediaset.
Born in Brussels, Belgium to Italian parents, Giorgio made the move to the United States in 1994 and now resides in Los Angeles with his wife and their son. Prior to his American adventure, he had already made a significant impact in Europe, directing over 100 hours of prime-time TV drama.
One of his most notable achievements was the period TV series "Orgoglio" (Pride),which garnered an impressive average of 13 million viewers per episode, with a peak of 23 million. To date, Giorgio has written and/or directed 35 feature films or TV series and produced 11.
His latest screenplay, "The Truth About La Dolce Vita", was selected for the prestigious Venice Film Festival in 2020. The film "Senior Moment" was released theatrically and VOD in March 2021, and went on to achieve a remarkable run of eight weeks in theaters, as well as a two-week stint in the Top 10 VOD charts.
Currently, Giorgio is in development as the Show-Runner/Writer of the TV series "The Rebel Queen", slated for production in 2024.
