Born in Naples, Italy, this talented musician made his debut in 2010 with the studio album "C'è un me dentro di me" released by independent label Cinico Disincanto.
As a multi-talented artist, he not only sang but also worked as a songwriter and instrumentalist with other renowned musicians, including Motta.
In 2017, he lent his skills to the main song of Francesca Comencini's film "Stories of Love That Cannot Belong to This World" (Amori che non sanno stare al mondo),which earned a nomination for the 2018 Silver Ribbon for Best Original Song.
The same year, he released his first acoustic record, "Solopiano".
Fast forward to 2019, his fifth album "Poesia e civiltà" was released with a major label (Virgin/Universal) and debuted on the Italian album charts.
That same year, he was awarded the prestigious MEI Prize "Artist of the Year" by independent labels.
In 2020, Truppi released the extended play "5", a collaborative effort with four other recording artists – Calcutta, La Rappresentante di Lista, Niccolò Fabi, and Brunori Sas – accompanied by the comic book "Cinque" published by Coconino Press.
In 2021, he published the book "L'avventura", detailing his experience during the 2020 summer concert tour affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This talented musician's latest endeavor was participating in the Sanremo Music Festival 2022 with his song "Tuo padre, mia madre, Lucia".
