Glen Ballard is a renowned American songwriter, lyricist, and record producer, whose illustrious career has spanned multiple decades and genres. He is most famously associated with his work on Alanis Morissette's groundbreaking 1995 album Jagged Little Pill, which earned him a pair of Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album and Album of the Year, as well as a prestigious spot on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
Ballard's impressive resume also includes collaborations with the acclaimed composer Alan Silvestri, as well as his involvement in the creation of Michael Jackson's iconic albums Thriller and Bad. As a writer, he has co-penned an array of hit songs, including the timeless classic "Man in the Mirror" (1987) and the 1995 single "Hand in My Pocket".
