Glen Suitor, a renowned broadcaster and retired defensive back, has had a remarkable career spanning eleven seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). His impressive record places him among the top CFL all-time leaders in interceptions, boasting an impressive 51 interceptions to his name.
Throughout his playing career, Suitor earned numerous accolades, including three-time CFL All-Star honors from 1991 to 1993 and four-time Western All-Star recognition in 1989, 1990, 1992, and 1993. His most notable achievement was winning the Grey Cup with Saskatchewan in 1989, where he served as the holder for the game-winning field goal.
Following his retirement from professional football, Suitor transitioned to broadcasting, joining TSN in 1995 to broadcast CFL games. He also co-hosts The Green Zone, a daily sports show that airs on 980 CJME in Regina and 650 CKOM in Saskatoon, alongside Jamie Nye.
In addition to his broadcasting career, Suitor has been recognized for his contributions to the community. In August 2016, he was appointed honorary colonel of 417 Combat Support Squadron.
