Golden Goodwin, the middle-born sibling, made his grand entrance into the world in Exeter, California, a city nestled in the heart of the Central Valley. This fertile region, known for its rich agricultural landscape, played host to Golden's formative years, during which he was lovingly nurtured by his accomplished author mother, Leitha Parmer (Groth),and his father, Isaiah Goodwin.
As a testament to his unique cultural heritage, Golden boasts a diverse ancestry, comprising the vibrant influences of Cuba, Native American Indian, and West Africa, specifically the Mandinka people. This rich tapestry of roots has undoubtedly shaped his perspective and worldview.
Throughout his youth, Golden split his time between California and Colorado, where he attended Highlands Ranch High School. His exceptional athletic abilities were on full display as he excelled in a variety of sports, including football, basketball, track & field, and baseball. This impressive display of skill and dedication earned him multiple Division 1 college scholarships, ultimately paving the way for a professional career in American Football.
