Throughout the latter half of the 1970s and the entirety of the 1980s, he held the esteemed position of leader for the extremely popular Yugoslav band "Bijelo dugme", hailing from the culturally rich city of Sarajevo.
During his tenure with the band, they released an impressive array of more than ten long-playing records, which collectively garnered an astonishing total of over 15 million copies sold.
As a pioneering force in the music industry, he was the first to successfully introduce the unique genre of "shepperd's rock", a distinctive blend of folk and rock music, into the mainstream of popular Yugoslav music.
In addition to his leadership role, he is a skilled guitarist and occasionally takes to the stage to showcase his musical talents.
As a prolific composer, he has consistently demonstrated his remarkable creative abilities, and following his departure from Yugoslavia at the onset of the war, he has shifted his focus towards the global music scene.
Today, he resides in the City of Light, Paris, where he continues to cultivate his passion for music and share his unique vision with audiences around the world.
