It was during this challenging period that he found solace in working alongside his stepfather at the esteemed Yugoslav Film Archive, where he likely honed his skills and gained valuable experience in the world of cinema.

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we must acknowledge the devastating loss that befell the world of cinema and beyond, as the renowned filmmaker, Slobodan Paskaljević, breathed his last breath on September 25, 2020, in the City of Light, Paris.
