Gordon's roots run deep in the city of Euclid, Ohio, where he was born, proudly claiming the title of a true-blood Clevelander. His journey in the world of acting began at The Chagrin Falls Academy for the Performing Arts, a prestigious institution where he underwent extensive training and laid the groundwork for a lifelong dedication to the art of acting.
Gordon's academic odyssey commenced at the State University of New York at Purchase, situated in the Empire State, where he pursued a rigorous course of study in the disciplines of Screenwriting and Playwriting. Nevertheless, the pecuniary constraints of attending an institution located outside of his home state soon began to exact a significant toll on Gordon's financial well-being, ultimately necessitating a return to his hometown, where he continued his academic endeavors.
Gordon's academic journey at Tri-C (Cuyahoga Community College) was marked by a dual pursuit of knowledge, as he simultaneously pursued a major in Chemistry while nurturing his passion for acting. His fascination with the performing arts proved to be a driving force, ultimately leading him to complete a comprehensive curriculum of acting and theater courses equivalent to a Bachelor's degree, all while still enrolled as a community college student.
Gordon had been diligently honing his skills for a period of two years, and as his abilities continued to flourish, he felt an insatiable desire to take his talents to the next level. With this ambition in mind, he embarked on a rigorous preparation process, ultimately setting his sights on attending Cleveland State University (CSU).
However, before making the transition to higher education, Gordon decided to make his professional debut in an equity production, taking on the role of Avery in Annie Baker's critically acclaimed play, "The Flick", at the esteemed Dobama Theatre in Cleveland Heights.
Gordon's academic journey at Colorado State University was characterized by his unwavering dedication to obtaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics, accompanied by a minor in Theatre Studies.
Gordon's journey took a significant turn as he opted to bid farewell to his hometown and relocate to the greater Atlanta area, driven by a profound passion for a career in the dynamic and captivating realms of film and theatre.
