Greg Mason, a talented actor, was born in Fairmont, West Virginia, where he attended Fairmont State College after completing high school. Alongside his brother Zach, he decided to take a chance by signing up to be extras in George Romero's 1990 remake of Night of the Living Dead, which was filming in Pennsylvania. This experience sparked a passion within him, and he soon found himself landing speaking roles in approximately 50 movies, ultimately earning acceptance into the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG/AFTRA).
As his career progressed, Greg worked on multiple feature films, which led to him being noticed by Collective Development. They offered him a role in a film they were producing in Lansing, Michigan, where he developed a strong rapport with the producers, directors, and their actor family, who are well-established within the film industry, particularly in historic and family-oriented productions. Greg has since portrayed characters in five of their movies, with the roles being well-written and directed, and carefully acted to fit in with the production's focus.
Currently, Greg is preparing for his sixth role with CDI in the upcoming film MBF (Man's Best Friend),where he will be playing the role of Jim, the landlord of the main character, played by DJ Perry. He was cast in this role due to the production's familiarity with his work and their confidence in his ability to bring the character to life.
Greg values the close-knit atmosphere on set, stating, "We are a family on set and off set. We have respect and admiration for each other's acting, directorial, and production insights."
