Biography

Gregg Vance, a talented American Actor/Producer, was born in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He gained widespread recognition for his standout performance in the Feature Film "Phat Beach", a Hip Hop Comedy that boasted an all-African-American cast, with the exception of his character, "Mikey Z", which he played. The film was released by Orion and received rave reviews from Variety, who hailed him as an "up-and-coming comedic newcomer".

Vance's journey in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of eighteen, when he started professionally acting in college at the University of New York, specifically at Hunter College, where he met Vin Diesel and honed his craft. After completing his college education, he spent over a decade studying acting with renowned coach Ron Burrus at the Los Feliz Playhouse in Hollywood, performing in numerous live shows.

His father, Kenny Vance, is a legendary American singer, songwriter, and music producer who was an original member of the iconic group "Jay and the Americans". One of Kenny's most notable achievements is the discovery of the renowned band "Steely Dan", and he continues to thrive in the music industry with his group "Kenny Vance and the Planatones".
