Gregori J. Martin is a highly acclaimed and accomplished director, producer, writer, and entrepreneur in the film and television industry. As the founder, CEO, and chairman of LANY Entertainment, a leading independent film and television production company, Martin has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry.
Best known for creating, directing, and show-running the 23x Emmy Award-winning and 64x Emmy-nominated multi-camera drama series The Bay, which has been broadcast on several popular streaming channels, including Tubi, Peacock, Amazon Prime, Popstar! TV, TenPlay Australia, and more. Martin has also been Emmy-nominated for his work on the POP-TV situation family comedy This Just In, where he served as a director, writer, and co-executive producer for two seasons.
As a Co-Executive Producer on the feature animation Saurus City, starring Emma Roberts, Ron Perlman, Dennis Quaid, Tim Meadows, and more, Martin has also worked on several other notable projects. These include directing, writing, and producing the upcoming film noir feature motion picture The Raven, a re-imagining of Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven and Annabel Lee, starring the late and legendary Tony Todd in one of his final performances. Additionally, Martin was part of the producing team on the upcoming psychological war drama The Plastic Men, a feature motion picture inspired by true events of a Vietnam war veteran who struggles through PTSD and experiences a chance encounter with a tragic love. In 2023 and 2024, Gregori J. Martin's The Bay made Daytime Emmy history by becoming the first independent series ever to be nominated for Outstanding Daytime Drama Series. Martin has written, produced, and directed over 100 episodes of the series and is currently in development on their tenth season.
Born and raised in New York, Martin is a proud Puerto Rican filmmaker and father of two. Throughout his career, he has written, directed, and produced over a dozen distributed feature motion pictures and television programs released in several territories around the globe.
