Gregory Crafts is a multi-talented artist with an impressive thirty-year career spanning multiple roles, including actor, playwright, director, designer, and producer. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Studies from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, which he earned in 2003. Following his graduation, Greg relocated to Los Angeles, California, where he currently resides with his wife, Jenn, and their feline companions.
In 2008, Greg co-founded Theatre Unleashed, a non-profit theatre company in North Hollywood, California, serving as its Managing Director. He is also an active member of several prestigious organizations, including SAG-AFTRA, Actors' Equity, the Dramatists Guild, the Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights, and the Theatrical Producers of Southern California. Furthermore, Greg serves on the boards of the Hollywood Fringe Festival and Flat Tire Theatre Company.
In 2016, Greg and his wife Jenn launched a live event venue management company, and in 2017, they took over the operation of studio/stage, a unique performance space in Los Angeles's KoreaTown. Under their banner, The StageCrafts, they are actively seeking new venues to add to their portfolio.
When not busy with his various endeavors, Greg enjoys supporting local theatre, reading historical fiction, binge-watching sci-fi shows on Netflix, playing video games, designing websites, participating in 5k mud runs, collecting comic books, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and practicing martial arts. He also has a confessed obsession with the Boston Red Sox.
