Gregory Kirchhoff

Gregory Kirchhoff, a talented individual, was born on June 18th, 1992, in the vibrant city of Hamburg, Germany. Throughout his life, he has had the opportunity to broaden his horizons by spending extended periods of time abroad, immersing himself in different cultures by studying in England and Spain. This international exposure would later influence his creative endeavors. Eventually, Kirchhoff returned to his homeland, where he poured his heart and soul into writing and directing his debut feature film, Dusky Paradise, which premiered in 2016. This cinematic masterpiece garnered widespread recognition, earning numerous international award nominations, including the prestigious Discovery Award at the Raindance Film Festival. His subsequent film, Baumbacher Syndrome, marked a significant milestone in his career, as it opened the esteemed 53. Hof International Film Festival and made its international debut at the Shanghai International Film Festival. Furthermore, the film was released on prominent streaming platforms, including Netflix and HBO. In addition to his feature film work, Kirchhoff has also ventured into television, directing an episode of Tatort, Germany's most popular and longest-running crime series, in the year 2021.
