Guilherme Filipe's early life unfolded in Lisbon, Portugal, where his family enthusiastically supported his aspirations. At the tender age of 14, he made his debut on stage in a Portuguese school production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, showcasing his promising talent. Guilherme's academic pursuits took him to the Faculdade de Letras de Lisboa, where he immersed himself in the study of English and German language and literature.
As his passion for the performing arts continued to grow, Guilherme decided to redirect his focus towards drama and stage direction, enrolling in the Conservatório Nacional (National drama school) in Lisbon. This marked the beginning of his professional journey, which started in 1984 at the Teatro Nacional (National Theatre).
In 1986, Guilherme took the bold step of creating his own comedy company, "Persona", which he both acted in and directed until 1991. Throughout his career, Guilherme has explored various mediums, including theatre, cinema, television, and radio. He has maintained a regular presence at Radio Difusão Portuguesa, broadcasting plays that showcase his remarkable range and versatility as a performer.
