Guy Debord

Guy Ernest Debord, born on December 28, 1931, was a profoundly influential French thinker whose intellectual endeavors traversed an impressive array of disciplines, encompassing Marxist theory, literary pursuits, filmmaking, and revolutionary activism. As a pivotal figure within the Letterist International, Debord played a crucial role in shaping the movement's ideology and artistic expression, subsequently solidifying his reputation as a visionary intellectual force. He went on to establish a Letterist faction, which further reinforced his status as a leading intellectual authority.
