Hana Mae Lee is a multifaceted artist, boasting an impressive array of talents that span the realms of acting, fashion design, music, art, writing, filmmaking, and makeup artistry. Her career began with notable appearances in commercials, such as the Cannes Lions and ANDY award-winning "It Must Be Love" aka "Best Friends (Cars/People)" for Honda, and music videos like the Grammy-nominated "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers.
Hana Mae's television credits include the Multi-Emmy-winning series "Mike & Molly," Golden Globe-winning "Californication," Golden Globe-nominated "Better Things," Critics Choice-nominated "Patriot," and critically acclaimed neo-noir series "Perpetual Grace, Ltd." Her film credits include the highest-grossing musical franchise of all time, "Pitch Perfect," which garnered numerous awards and nominations, including a Scene Stealer nomination.
Her subsequent film appearances include McG's horror-comedy "The Babysitter" and its sequel, "The Babysitter: Killer Queen." Hana Mae has also been featured in various magazines, such as Vogue Korea, Wonderland, and Schön.
As an alumnus of Otis College of Art and Design with a BFA in fashion design, Hana Mae has worked with numerous design houses and as an image/style consultant before establishing her own fashion line, Hanamahn ("just one" in Korean). Hanamahn designs are one-of-a-kind pieces worn by collectors, musicians, business creatives, and actors.
Hana Mae has ventured into filmmaking, producing her first feature "Hot God On A Stick," a hybrid-documentary about contemporary artists from Los Angeles, conceived and executed by magician/artist Anton Levine. She has also recently wrapped "Boris Is Dead," a dark comedy thriller film directed by James Cullen Bressack, opposite Dane Cook. Currently, you can watch Hana Mae in "Abruptio," a horror-puppet feature by Evan Marlowe, alongside James Marsters, Christopher McDonald, Robert Englund, Jordan Peele, and Sid Haig.
In addition to her solo projects, Hana Mae has collaborated with electro performance artist Mark Mallory to form Grave Condition, a melancholic symposium featuring haunting gothic modulations. Their chilling debut "Atmospheric Paradigm" has been released across all streaming platforms.
