Hannah Barefoot is a talented actress, singer, and writer, renowned for her captivating portrayals of complex women with grit and humor. Born in Cody, Wyoming, she initially pursued a career as a professional dancer but discovered her true passion for theatre after becoming involved in her local theatre and inspired by classic films. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre, Dance, and Singing from the University of Wyoming.
Hannah's breakthrough role in the indie-cult favorite, The Falls: Testament of Love (2013),marked the beginning of her successful film career. She subsequently recurred in the Amazon original series Good Girls Revolt (2015),based on true events in 1969, and the Spectrum Original L.A.'s Finest (2019),starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba. Her impressive resume includes guest appearances in numerous TV shows, including Chicago Med (2015),Good Trouble (2019),Creepshow (2019),Dirty John (2018),and Lucifer (2016),among others.
In addition to her extensive filmography, Hannah has also made a mark in the theatre world. She appeared in the Los Angeles production of Center Theatre Group's "2:22 - A Ghost Story" (2022),alongside Constance Wu, Anna Camp, Finn Wittrock, and Adam Rothenberg, at the renowned Ahmanson Theatre.
Hannah is also a talented writer, producer, and star of the dark action comedy Incendio (2017),which premiered at 17 festivals worldwide, showcasing her athleticism and ferocity. She has since been developing several other projects.
As a singer-songwriter, Hannah is part of the band The Luminous Grey, along with her husband, musician Andy Barefoot. Their original songs have been featured in several of Hannah's films, including "To See Your Smile" in Off the Rails (2017) and "Geronimo" in Country Christmas Album (2018).
Hannah remains dedicated to her craft, continually honing her skills through improv, dialects, horseback riding, rock climbing, and other forms of training.
